  • Filip (CNOM Chair) and Rémi (IFIP WG6.6 Chair) chaired the meeting.

  • COMMAG:
    • Filip provided detailed information of the IEEE COMMAG Series.
    • Noura and Prosper will be suggested as new Network and Service Management Series editors.
    • Prosper and George discussed about the style of IEEE Communications Magazine papers. George mentioned they should not be a high level or survey proposals or an architecture without any validation and should have some realization behind to support it. Essentially IEEE COMMAG Series papers should have a tutorial text in the first part, while the second part should have the specific contributions to advance the state of the art. George also mentioned that Tarek S. El-Bawab, the new editor-in-chief has plans to change that and will get in touch with the Series Editors.
    • Filip mentioned the need to define strategies to attract high quality COMMAG paper submissions from the community.
    • Marc Olivier mentioned the need to create awareness about the possibility for the authors whom had papers published in TNSM to have another publication in IEEE COMMAG
    • Alexander Clemm suggested to update the CNOM website with information about the style of papers and possibilities of publication.
    • George emphasized that this community should support the magazine and that several of the papers do not come from the community itself.
  • Rémi provided detailed information of JNSM, IJNM, and JSAC.
  • Filip showed the upcoming special issues with open calls.
  • Rolf Stadler reported the status of current JSAC Special Issues and mentioned that have not yet discussed about follow up issues. Filip mentioned there used to be a special issue and a whole series on softwarization, but it has been discontinued, however TNSM has a special issue on this topic.
  • Rémi presented the 2019/2020 Conference Statistics
  • Pal Varga reported his impressions on having NOMS virtually. Mentioned problems with microphone misuse and other small problems. However, overall everything was very good, specially the attendance, with 35~40 people in the rooms, while the keynote had 86 participants. No reported no-shows. Concluded showing a movie demonstrating the 3D room used for poster sessions, which was interesting as it brought an extra flavor for the posters. Marc Olivier liked everything and Prosper congratulated Pal for the efforts.
